💙 Grateful Friday | Our Hearbeat

In this Grateful Friday reflection, Looking back at the very first sight of our CrossLink Ikigai Chellakutti, Manoj, at 12 weeks during our ultrasound on March 6, 2012. Fast forward to today, and he is stepping into the 9th grade, building advanced custom computers, and continuing to amaze us every single day with his bright mind. Time truly flies, but a mother's love is unconditional and eternal. Our true heartbeat - Kannaana Kanney. ✨👶🏽💙

Mrs. Hema Satoshi (CrossLink Ikigai)

💙 Grateful Friday | Service • Gratitude • Unconditional Love

In this Grateful Friday reflection, Mrs. Hema Satoshi shares the people who have inspired her life's journey. From childhood, Mother Teresa inspired her through unconditional love, compassion, and service, nurturing her dream of becoming a physician dedicated to helping others. Although life led her to pursue engineering instead, her commitment to serving people has remained unchanged.

Mrs. Hema Satoshi also expresses heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Satoshi Asami, whom she first knew professionally before they later became life partners. She shares how his encouragement, kindness, and unwavering support during one of the most challenging periods of her life strengthened her personally and academically, including her continued studies at Rice University.

This reflection reminds us that inspiration shapes our dreams, while gratitude strengthens our journey. By serving others with compassion and appreciating those who support us, we can create a more caring and connected world.

Happy Learning & Happy Sharing! 📚🌱 500 Books Loaned from Rice University Fondren Library for Community Learning A joyful milestone for the CrossLink Ikigai – Library In Every Street Movement Initiative! We are delighted to share that 500 books have been generously loaned by Rice University Fondren Library for one full year to support learning, curiosity, and community growth through the S4AM Community Library. This initiative is more than books on shelves—it is about creating opportunities, building connections, and making knowledge accessible to everyone regardless of age, background, or circumstance. Every book represents a seed of possibility, waiting to inspire a reader, spark a new idea, or open a new path in life. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our wonderful Rice librarians, Ms. Logan and Ms. Evita, whose kindness, encouragement, and dedication have helped make this vision possible. Their support demonstrates the power of libraries as bridges that connect people, knowledge, and communities. 📖 500 books. 🌱 Countless opportunities to learn. 🤝 One community growing together. At CrossLink Ikigai, we believe: Purpose • Connection • Growth When knowledge is shared, communities flourish. When libraries open their doors, possibilities multiply. And when people come together with a spirit of service, small acts become lasting impact. The S4AM Community Library is one step toward our vision of a world where everyone feels seen, supported, and connected. Together, we can cultivate a culture of lifelong learning, curiosity, compassion, and community service. Happy Learning! Happy Sharing!
